About Me

Greetings and welcome to my blog!

Brief Testimony:

I did not grow up in a Christian home. I accepted Christ as the Lord of my life on November 4, 2011, when I was 20 years-old. Ever since I became a Christian, I have wanted to be a Pastor. My duty as a Christian is to love the people that God has brought into my life. I hope to someday be a bi-vocational Pastor with one foot in the ministry and one foot in the corporate world.

About Me:

I’ve lived in Minnesota for my entire life and within the last five years moved to Minneapolis from the suburbs. I love the cities and if I could live anywhere in the world it would be in a trendy condo in Uptown overlooking Lake Calhoun. I also love business (literally, everything about business) and I would love to work at a creative/advertising agency or a consulting firm once I complete school. One of the reasons that I am drawn to marketing is because I feel like I am hard-wired for it. Marketing, as an academic field, is a blend of business and communication. Like I said before, I love everything about the field of business. Communication, interestingly, is one of my top five values. A saying of mine is, “You can’t communicate with me too much”. So, I naturally feel comfortable while exercising my marketing muscles. I was born to be in marketing.

About My Future:

Like I said, I would love to Pastor in some capacity. A Lead Pastor of a smaller church or a Youth Pastor would be ideal. As for business, I would love to start my own small business or work in a creative capacity in the corporate world.

What I Anticipate From The Class:

In BUS 265, I hope to develop and sharpen my marketing skills and experience. I am incredibly excited to work on the large marketing project that comprises this class as well. While I am excited and eager to develop my skills, I mainly want to win the marketing competition and show the alternative marketing class that my team is a group of competent and capable marketers. I strive to be the best in my field and I don’t particularly like losing. That being said, I hope this class is highly competitive but educational and fun as well.

I look forward to class with all of you!
